Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series

Owned by International Speedway Corporation and the France family - the same parties that own NASCAR - the Grand American Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series races 10 times in 2010, and features some of the world's biggest stars. Grand-Am is the fastest growing series in motorsports worldwide. Racing in locations as diverse as Miami, New England, Salt Lake City, upstate New York, Virginia and Quebec, Canada, the Continental Tire Challenge Series races in close proximity to some of the biggest and most important commercial markets in North America.

The  Continental Tire Challenge Series features "street-stock" racing machines very much like the cars bought off the showroom floor. The ST class grid is comprised of Acura TSX and RSXs, BMW's, Mazda MX5's. RX8s, Hondas Civics and, of course, our MINI Cooper S. Field counts are high in  Continental Tire Challenge, with some races topping 90 entries, making for the most intense and competitive racing to be found in North America.

The Continental Tire Challenge Series and its sponsors receive extensive media coverage in the racing and automotive press, and in the daily news media. Television coverage reaches more than 50 million homes in the US alone through Speed Channel, and ratings have been climbing steadily as the series has become recognized for intensely close racing. Sponsor participation and ROI dramatically increased between 2003 and 2006, as more major corporations use the series, their teams and drivers as a marketing platform.

The Continental Series is televised on Speed, reaching a large, affluent and diverse audience.
